Inspired by Mathsson’s travels in America, every detail of Södra Kull was meticulously crafted, preserving the original living environment and embodying the Swedish master’s “function first” design philosophy and relentless pursuit of excellence.

布鲁诺·马斯森（Bruno Mathsson）作为瑞典最具影响力的家具设计师与建筑师，以功能主义和现代主义的家具设计理念著称。出身于五代木匠世家，16岁便开始从事家具创作。他设计的蚱蜢椅（Grasshopper）、伊娃椅（Eva Chair）和经典转椅（Swivel chair）等标志性作品，如今都陈列在其童年故居旁的玻璃展厅中。上世纪30年代，他开创性地研发了曲木椅制作工艺，搭配编织麻布椅面，首次将人体工学概念引入设计领域。其最具代表性的作品包括1935年设计的“伊娃“椅（Eva chair）和1934年问世的“佩妮拉“躺椅（Pernilla chaise longue）。其创新的家具设计最终风靡全球，彻底改变了人们的就座方式。
