Jennifer Gennari is a classically trained painter specializing in animal portraiture. She earned her BFA from the Ringling College of Art and Design in 2005 and continued her studies in classical realism at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy, where she trained under Daniel Graves for three years.

Since 2014, Jennifer has devoted her practice to animal subjects, driven by a profound commitment to honoring and elevating the role animals play in our lives. As one of the first contemporary artists to focus exclusively on animals, she pioneered the use of the alla prima to depict animals with the same depth, dignity, and emotional resonance as human subjects.

Each of her portraits conveys a striking individuality, capturing not just the likeness but the spirit of her subjects. Her work is a true labor of love, blending classical technique with heartfelt reverence for the animal world.
