While morning stars still pierce the sky, you board the train to Jingzhou ,soon to fly to me
I linger at the crenels of the ancient wall, my heart joyful
Till your silhouette is one with the dawn’s early glow.
The freshness of grass and trees, wrapped in the moat’s mist,
Blends with the rosy glow, steeping my gaze,
And kindles a sunrise deep inside…
Two high-speed tickets shuttle between the two towns
As dusk weaves the sky into brocade,
I already reach Hankou’s riverside.
The Parrot Isle Bridge melts the sun, a symphony—
In chords of gold and rose.
Beneath the starry sky of the Eight-Centuries Chu State Park,
We stand hand in hand, gazing at the Milky Way on Qixi Eve.
The 1-hour-16-minute ride of the high-speed train
Traces the closest distance between our two hearts.
Their resonance never falters, defying time and space.
This romance of two cities,
Is the whisper of expectation and reunion,
Is the rhyme of separation and togetherness,
In kisses and embraces, time turns to crystal…
