5月1日，广东中山三乡郑氏在桥头村小琅环公园隆重举行“入粤始祖菊叟郑公千秋功德碑敬立落成暨桥西祖墓重修竣工庆典”，来自各地的菊叟公后裔参加了此次庆典，河南省郑文化研究院秘书长郑天强也应邀参加了这一隆重的活动并发表了讲话。
On May 1, the Zheng family of Zhongshan Sanxiang, Guangdong Province, held the “Celebration of the Completion of the Monument to the Ancestor of Jusou Zheng Qianqiu and the Reconstruction of the Ancestral Tomb in Qiaoxi” in Xiaolanghuan Park, Qiaotou Village.
据悉在2021年 4月 3日，广东省中山市三乡郑氏“入粤始祖菊叟郑公千秋功德碑”在三乡桥头村小琅环公园敬立。
It is reported that on April 3, 2021 , the “Monument of the Merit of Ju Sou Zheng Gong, the Ancestor of Guangdong” of the Zheng family in Sanxiang City, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, was erected in Xiaolanghuan Park, Qiaotou Village, Sanxiang.
郑菊叟（1022—1093），福建莆田“南湖郑氏西山郑”后裔。碑记载：“西山之郑，渊源远兮。轩辕黄帝苗裔，周宣王之母弟，郑伯开国，有郡荥阳。沧海桑田，岁月播迁，至公累六十四世矣。公讳行十，号菊叟，生于宋乾兴元年壬戌十月初一日，卒于元佑八年癸酉四月廿九日，享寿七十二岁，仙乡西册埔牛皮地。公髫龄立志，素勤学殖，淬砺儒林，驰声郡邑，荣登桂籍。庆历四年甲申以才学擢广东惠州路判，政通人和，喜佳山水，遂卜居东莞文顺乡丰乐村，今乌石桥头村，宋绍兴廿二年改香山县，仍称西山郑氏。公生五子：廷瑞、廷宣、廷哲、廷举、廷辅。先世奕万人，聚居中山、珠海、香港、澳门、台湾及欧美域外诸地，英才辈出，为官者廉，为将者勇，为学者智，为商者富，为工者勤，遂为岭南望族。赞曰：言念始祖，出自莆阳。宦游岭表，奠居于香。猗欤休哉，厥德不爽。绵绵嘉祉，申锡无疆。九州四海，子孙隆昌。本固末茂，源深流长。”
Zheng Jusou (1022-1093), a descendant of “Nanhu Zheng’s Xishan Zheng” in Putian, Fujian. The stele records: “Zheng of Xishan has a long history.” Xuanyuan is a descendant of the Yellow Emperor, the full brother of King Xuan of Zhou, and Duke Zheng founded the state and established a commandery in Xingyang. The vicissitudes of life and the years have passed, and it has been sixty-four generations since the beginning of the year. The public name is Xing Shi, the number Jusou, born on the first day of October in the first year of Song Qianxing, and died on the twenty-ninth day of the fourth month of the eighth year of Yuanyou, at the age of seventy-two, Xianxiang Xicepu cowhide land. The public was determined to be young, diligent in learning, tempering the Confucian scholars, and gaining fame in the county, and was honored to be a laurel. In the fourth year of Qingli, Jiashen was promoted to the judge of Huizhou Road in Guangdong Province with his talents, and he was politically connected to the people, and he liked the beautiful landscape, so he lived in Fengle Village, Wenshun Township, Dongguan, now Wushi Qiaotou Village, and changed to Xiangshan County in the twenty-second year of Song Shaoxing, still known as the Zheng family of Xishan. Duke Zhao had five sons: Tingrui, Tingxuan, Tingzhe, Tingju, and Tingfu. Tens of thousands of ancestors lived in Zhongshan, Zhuhai, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and other places outside Europe and the United States, and there were many talents, honest officials, brave generals, wise scholars, rich businessmen, diligent workers, so they became a prominent family in Lingnan. It is said: The ancestor of Yan Nian originated in Puyang. He traveled to Lingnan as an official and settled in Xiang. How magnificent and magnificent! His virtue is unchangeable. Continuous blessings, boundless blessings. The nine provinces and four seas, the descendants prosper. The foundation is solid and the end is prosperous, and the source is deep. ”
立碑吉日，晴空万里，风和日丽，一座颇具规模的纪念始祖功德碑呈现眼前，白云会聚，云彩心形，亦表达对先祖敬意。参加敬立“入粤始祖菊叟郑公千秋功德碑”的宗亲有国贤、观富、社文、志航、建华、锐根、司赞、国治、汉权、玉文、活维、子源、金城、洪钧、子昌、恩来（大师）、北洋等。
On the auspicious day of erecting the monument, the sky is clear, the wind is sunny, and a large-scale monument commemorating the merit of the ancestor is presented in front of the eyes, with white clouds gathering and clouds in the shape of hearts, which also expresses respect for the ancestors. The clan relatives who participated in the erection of the “Monument to the Merit of Zheng Gong, the Ancestor of Guangdong“, include Guoxian, Guanfu, Shewen, Zhihang, Jianhua, Ruigen, Sizan, Guozhi, Hanquan, Yuwen, Huowei, Ziyuan, Jincheng, Hong Jun, Zichang, Enlai (Master), Beiyang, etc.
功德碑高 281厘米，为碑头、碑身、碑座三部分，青石雕造。碑头高 45厘米，顶刻四龙护碑。碑身高 171厘米、宽 81厘米、厚18厘米，正面碑名、背面碑记，碑座高 65厘米，由霸下组成。功德碑座北偏西、向南偏东，远眺五指山。基座 40多平方米，四周和地面以花岗岩铺砌，后壁雕刻福禄寿图案，有“源朔荥阳，莆水分支”对联，基座出口五级台阶，尽显始祖尊贵。
The merit monument is 281 cm high , and it is carved in bluestone in three parts: the head, the body and the stele. The head of the stele is 45 cm high , and the top is engraved with four dragons. The stele is 171 cm high , 81 cm wide , and 18 cm thick, with the name of the front stele and the inscription on the back, and the stele base is 65 cm high , composed of Baxia. The merit monument is north-west and south-east, overlooking Wuzhi Mountain. The pedestal is more than 40 square meters, surrounded by granite paved, the back wall is carved with the pattern of Fu Lushou, there is a couplet of “Yuan Shuo Xingyang, Putshui Branch“, and the pedestal exits five steps, showing the dignity of the ancestors.
菊叟功德碑的建立，是在 2020年元旦宗亲联谊会上，会长郑建辉提出：菊叟千年诞辰将至，菊叟墓原位于坦洲镇月环村牛皮地，二十多年前，由于众裔孙毫不知情，被推平改建成工业厂房，无法恢复。为迎接菊叟先祖千年诞辰，倡议兴建千秋功德碑，供后裔瞻敬始祖。宗亲反响热烈，大力支持。在建辉、观富、国贤、社文、建华、志航、华兴、锐根等组织下，完成了选址、设计、筹款等工作， 2021年 2月 27日开工，4月 3日敬立。在不到两年时间内，回溯了近千年的血源情感。不忘祖恩，是郑氏的传统美德，“爱国、忠孝、包容、诚信“作为郑文化核心，早已植入郑氏子孙血脉中。
The establishment of the Jusou Merit Monument was proposed by President Zheng Jianhui at the 2020 New Year’s Day Clan Friendship Meeting: The millennium of Jusou’s birthday is approaching, and the tomb of Jusou was originally located in the cowhide land of Yuehuan Village, Tanzhou Town, and more than 20 years ago, due to the unknowing of the descendants, it was bulldozed and converted into an industrial plant and could not be restored. In order to welcome the thousand-year birthday of Jusou’s ancestors, it was proposed to build a monument of merit for future generations to pay homage to the ancestors. The response from the clan was enthusiastic and strongly supported. Under the organization of Jianhui, Guanfu, Guoxian, Shewen, Jianhua, Zhihang, Huaxing, Ruigen and other organizations, the site selection, design, fundraising and other work were completed, and construction started on February 27, 2021 , and was established on April 3. In less than two years, nearly a thousand years of bloodborne emotions have been traced. Not forgetting the ancestral grace is the traditional virtue of the Zheng family, and “patriotism, loyalty and filial piety, tolerance and integrity“ as the core of Zheng culture have long been implanted in the blood of the descendants of the Zheng family.
水有源、树有根、人有祖，菊叟功德碑的敬立，是三乡郑文化的传承发展，向前迈出更扎实的一步，让生活在世界各地的菊叟祖后裔，寻根有址，敬奉祖先有碑，汇聚郑氏更大力量，为社会作更大贡献。
The respectful establishment of the Ju Sou Merit Monument is the inheritance and development of the Sanxiang Zheng culture, and a more solid step forward, so that the descendants of the Ju Sou ancestors living all over the world can find their roots and sites, worship their ancestors and have monuments, gather the greater strength of the Zheng family, and make greater contributions to the society.
