Wang then launched a stunning fightback effort, saving four championship points before winning the game to send the contest into the decider.
The tenacious resurgence gave Wang boost in confidence as she started the seventh game in fighting form taking a 2-0 lead.
Sun turned the tables, scoring six points on the trot to finally hold off the resilient Wang before falling to the ground in celebration.
